Aspen leaves in the fall...a personal note
Though we currently live in Santa Fe, NM, we are originally from Colorado and will always think of it as home. One of our favorite things to do each fall was to go to up to the mountains around Breckenridge and hike in the crisp fall air amongst the changing Aspens. Here in Santa Fe, we drive 30 minutes to Ski Santa Fe and ride the chairlift to the top of the mountain for exquisite Aspen viewing. The smells of fallen leaves, the sounds of the aspens quaking in the crisp breeze, along with the breathtaking display of vibrant reds and golds, all creates a full sensory experience that lingers long after we leave.
This inspired me to create the Aspen leaf heart bowl pictured above. Let me know if I can make one for you!
